The Coahoma County Sheriff’s Department was called to the Isle Of Capri Casino Monday evening on a report that a man had been shot by a woman.
Sheriff Department reports said they were called at 7 p.m. about a shooting in the parking lot of the casino and one person was suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputies identified the victim as Robert Howard, no address given, who was transported to Regional One in Memphis, where he was treated and released.
Deputies said their investigation developed Valeria Hope, 18, no address given, as a suspect, but no arrest was made at the time.
Investigation reports said the incident appears to have been a domestic dispute.
The Coahoma County Sheriff’s Department said this is an ongoing investigation and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
