Lee Academy has opened its 2021 softball season with a 3-2 start thanks to a current two-game winning streak.
They went on to win two games and advance to the championship round on Saturday.

Pitcher Jett Harrell threw a no-hitter through three innings while recording eight strikeouts.
Harrell was 2-for-3 from the plate with a double and two RBIs.
Bella Favi was 1-for-1 with three runs, two walks and two RBIs. Faith Carter Bailey was 1-for-1 with three runs, two RBIs and two walks. Emily Grace Smith walked twice and scored two runs.
Nyriah Artis was 1-for-1 with three runs, one walk and one RBI.
Grace Carpenter was 1-for-2 with two runs, three RBIs, one walk and a triple.
Lauren Jantz walked and scored a run.
Kaitlyn Brocato was 1-for-1 with one run and one walk.
Emma Penningston scored two runs.
Alyssa Vassel walked and scored a run.
Lee Academy won 14-0 at Oak Hill Academy Monday.
Harrell struck out 10 and walked one while allowing one hit.
Favi went 5-for-6 at the plate. Favi singled in the first, singled in the second, singled in the third, singled in the fifth, and singled in the seventh.
Lee fired up the offense in the first inning, when Artis singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
The Fillies tallied five runs in the seventh inning. They put the pressure on, led by singles by Jantz, Harrell, and Favi and an error on a ball put in play by Artis.
Lee had 16 hits in the game. Favi, Harrell, Artis, and Vassel all collected multiple hits for The Fillies stole seven bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Jantz led the way with two.
Lee lost 3-1 to Tunica Academy Saturday.
Harrell gave up three runs on five hits over four innings, striking out eight and walking zero.
Favi had one hit in two at bats.
Smith had a groundout RBI.
Lee defeated West Memphis Christian 11-4 Saturday.
Harrell was 2-for-2 from the plate with one walk, three RBIs and two runs.
Smith had two walks and one run. She also was the winning pitcher giving up one hit, one earned run and one walk while recording two strikeouts.
Bailey was 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBIs.
Carpenter was 1-for-1 with one walk, one run and one RBI.
The Fillies walked nine times.
Lee opened the season with a 7-1 loss at Bayou Academy.
Harrell surrendered seven hits while striking out five on the mound.
Artis, Jantz, Brocato, Favi, Carpenter and Smith each had one hit for Lee.
