On Monday, the Tunica County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles at the intersection of Casino Strip Extended and Kirby Road in Robinsonville.
Upon arrival, Sheriff Deputies and first responders discovered two vehicles that had extensive damage and the drivers of both vehicles were dead.
The victims were identified as Nicholas Paul Stafford, 29, of Tate County, and Ruby Gene Watney, 36, also of Tate County.
During the investigation, it was determined that a firearm was stolen from the scene.
Within the 48 hours Jonathan Parr, 59, and Christina Brumback, 42, both of Hernando, MS were arrested and taken to the Tunica County Jail. The firearm was recovered.
Parr is being charged with possession of a stolen firearm and felon in possession of a stolen firearm. Brumback is being charged with accessory after the fact.
