Clarksdale police are investigating a home burglary and an auto burglary and are asking the community for assistance in solving these crimes.
Police responded to the 100 block of Adams Street at 3:57 a.m. Tuesday and spoke to Bobby Carter who said he walked to the store and when he returned he noticed his television had been stolen from his bedroom.
Police reports indicate entry to the house was gained through the front door.
The case as assigned to Investigator L. Grimes.
Auto Burglary
Police were called to 1512 Broad Street at 1:35 p.m. Monday after a car owner discovered his vehicle had been burglarized.
Officers spoke with Earl Albrecht who said when he came out to get in his auto he noticed someone had broken into the vehicle. Stated the only thing he noticed missing was a flashlight.
The case was assigned to Investigator G. Johnson.
