Curtis Edward Citchens, 63, of Clarksdale fell asleep in death on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024.He was a
loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
He leaves to cherish six children Anthony (Natasha), Tara (Justice), Mario, April, Ashley (Freddie) and Curtise; eight grandchildren, Meagan, Rasheriah, Anthony Jr., Omari, Mariah, Brody, Hudson and Holland; eight brothers, Maynard Jr., Milton (Dawn), Michael (Michelle), Bobby, Roderick, Marvin (Katrina), Christopher (Chauncey), and Jerry; six sisters, Angel, Leatha, Marilyn, Linda (Eric), Charlotte (Roy) and Rose. He also leaves to cherish countless cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Maynard and Mattie Citchens; two brothers, Clarence Citchens and Kendrick Walker; and one sister, Sandra Phillips.
A memorial service will be held at Coahoma Community College, Pinnacle Building, on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024 at 1 p.m. Bro. Roger Gross will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to donate.jw.org.
