David Lee was born on November 2, 1972 in Clarksdale, to Ms. Dorothy Lee and Mr. Charles Young.
David’s earthly journey ended on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2023 at his home.
David attended and graduated from school in the West Tallahatchie School District. Soon after graduation, David began his career as a farm worker on the Omega (Flowers) Farm. David held several roles while working on the farm. He remained a dedicated and reliable worker up to his time of death.
David was preceded in death by his father, Charles Young; his brother, Gregory Young; his grandmother, Willie Mae Lee; and significant other, Kathleen “Faye” Jackson.
David leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Dorothy Lee Nash, of Tupelo; his children; Crystal and Beaunca Jackson, both of Tutwiler; two sisters, Joyce Ann Lee, of Tutwiler, and Jacqeline Young of Arkansas; six brothers, Nathaniel Lee and Johnny Lee Nash, both of Tupelo, Charles Young, Jerry Young, and Willie Lee Young, all from Arkansas, and Tony Young of Texas; four aunts, Annie Lee, Ora Lee and Mary Ann Lee, all of Clarksdale; Viola Smith of St. Louis, Mo.; three uncles; Tommy Lee of St. Louis, Johnny Lee of Parchman, and Aaron Lee of Missouri; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other relatives.
