Delta Council officers and presidential appointees met in Stoneville recently at Delta Council headquarters.
President Bubba Simmons opened the meeting followed by a Washington update from Bailey Archey, Ag Legislative Assistant for Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith and an update on Regional Health Care by Wade Litton, Chairman.
Officers for the 2023-24 year are: President Bubba Simmons; Vice Presidents - Alan Byrd, Jack Phillips, Hank Reichle, Brian Robinson, Bill Walker, and Will Weathers; Treasurer, Clifton Thach.
Presidential Appointees are: Lisa Cowart, Charles Durst, Ben Johnson, Walt King, Carl McGee, Rivers Myers, Barry Schuster, Sarita Simmons, Ann Marie Smythe and Reed Trusty.
Delta Council is an area economic development organization representing the 19 Delta and part-Delta counties of Northwest Mississippi.
Delta Council works to solve common problems and promote the development of the economy in the Mississippi Delta.
