Doris Ard Day, of Clarksdale, was born March 22, 1929 and passed away April 15, 2023.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law Gloria Long Day of Marks; her granddaughter Angela (Paul) Haire of Clarksdale; her two great grandsons Trey (Haley) Haire of Pearl, and Austin Haire of Savage, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Louie E. Day, Sr., and her son Louie E. Day, Jr., her mother Leaila Ard Medlin and her sister Vevien Ard Swiontek.
She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ of Clarksdale.
Her visitation was 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 18 followed by her funeral at 2 p.m. at Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home with burial at Oakridge Cemetery.
