Two people have died and one person was severely injured over the Christmas weekend after a crash in Coahoma County on Friday, December 22.
The crash happened about 10 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Dog Bog Road and the Friars Point/Hwy 61 Road.
First responders found an overturned car with multiple people ejected out of the car. Two people were dead at the crash scene and one person was airlifted to a local hospital that was not named in the report.
Pafford EMS crews treated several people for injuries.
Coahoma County Fire Department also assisted and set up the landing zone for Pafford Air Ambulance.
A motorcycle is also believed to have been involved in this accident and details as to what might have caused the accident remain sketchy.
The names of those involved in the accident have also not been released.
The crash is being investigated by the Coahoma County Sheriff's Office and the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
