Oxford, Mississippi announces the 27^th annual Double Decker Arts Festival, a renowned celebration of food, music and the arts, scheduled for April 26 and 27. The red double-decker bus, imported from England in 1994, serves as the inspiration and centerpiece of the two-day extravaganza held in the historic downtown square.

Tyler Perry films part of next movie in Clarksdale

After Madea, Joe may be actor and producer Tyler Perry’s best character, and Tyler Perry and Joe came to town this week.
TPS (Tyler Perry Studios) was in downtown Clarksdale Monday, filming a segment of Joe’s College Road Trip, closing off streets, hiring extras and allowing Hollywood to get a taste of the Delta.
