Clarksdale nipped by South Panola, travels to Charleston tonight

Clarksdale’s offense played well, the defense did their job and it was a good game except for the score.
The Clarksdale Wildcats lost a close game with the South Panola Tigers in a contest that was not decided until the last five minutes of the fourth quarter.

County schools awarded playgrounds

Coahoma County elementary schools were one of 12 schools across Mississippi to earn a playground thanks to a grant from Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Foundation.
Schools selected to receive playgrounds, including Lyon Elementary School, Jonestown Elementary School, and Friars Point Elementary School.
