On Wednesday, March 3, shortly before 11 p.m. Clarksdale police responded to the 600 block of Desoto Avenue, in reference to a shooting into a vehicle.
Officers spoke with Demarcus Pittman who said he was sitting in his vehicle, when he heard something hit his windshield. Pittman said it appeared to be a bullet that came through the windshield of his 2013 Chevrolet Malibu.
Police said no one in the vehicle was hit and several shell casings were recovered at the corner of
Mississippi and Seventh St.
