The Coahoma County Sheriff’s Department is looking for two men that they believe were involved in a shooting that left two men dead on Friday.
Authorities are investigating the double homicide that occurred in East Park subdivision off Robinson Road Friday afternoon.
when a car was shot into hitting two Clarksdale men with one dying in the car and the other taken to Northwest Regional Hospital in Clarksdale where he died.
The shooting victims have been identified Bruce Washington, 20, and Tawon Jackson, 21, both of Clarksdale.
Details of the incident are sketchy with people in the area mum on the incident.
The Sheriff’s Department has issued warrants for Albert Thomas, 32, and Trentavius Thomas, 22, both of Lyon.
Lyon, normally a quiet community north of Clarksdale, was the scene of gunshots on Thursday, March 4, when two cars drove down Main Street with the first car shooting several times at a following car.
The incident was captures on city security cameras.
It is not known if the March 4 shooting and this weekend’s shooting are related.
