The Clarkdale Police Department has arrested a man in connection with a shooting that occurred in mid March.
Officers arrested Dantarius Williams, 25, on a warrant for aggravated assault that had been issued on March 18, following an incident where a man was shot in the foot following an incident on State Street.
Williams was arrested about 7 p.m. Tuesday and placed in the Coahoma County Jail to await an initial appearance in Clarksdale Municipal Court today.

All calls remain anonymous and cash is paid to those providing information that leads to solving this crime.
