The Clarksdale Police Department is investigating an alleged armed robbery that was reported Monday, Sept. 21.
According to police the incident occurred in the 600 block of Lincoln Street and a 2006 Mercedes, cash, Ipod, and an Apple watch were taken in the incident.
The case has been assigned to a Clarksdale Police Department investigator and is an active investigation.
Clarksdale Assistant Chief Vince Ramirez has asked anyone with information about these incidents to call the Clarksdale Police Department at 621-8156, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or simply dial 911. All calls remain anonymous and cash is paid to those providing information that leads to solving a crime.
Residents are also reminded that while Clarksdale no longer has a blanket curfew, juveniles are not to be out from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. and parents or guardians or adults with them can be fined for curfew violation of youth in their care or in their car.
