They are teacher of the year at Heidelberg Elementary School Jennie Butler, teacher of the year at George H. Oliver Elementary School Candance Barron, teacher of the year at W.A. Higgins Middle School Izora Baltys, teacher of the year at J.W. Stampley 9th Grade Academy Johnny Maddox, teacher of the year at Kirkpatrick Health & Medical Science Magnet Elementary School Jessica Johnson, teacher of the year at Booker T. Washington Elementary School Fanchon Freeman.
Top administrator is District Administrator of The Year from Heidelberg Elementary School Cornishee Bruce-Sims.
The Teacher of the Year from Clarksdale High School is Sgt. Major Freddie Davis.
Butler was also named the CMSD Teacher of The Year.
