“We created COIN to serve the needs of Mississippi’s growing construction industry,” said Mike Barkett, president of the Mississippi Construction Education Foundation. “COIN streamlines the connection between job seekers and employers and showcases a variety of great job opportunities for trade professionals who are serious about finding the right career track.”
It takes just a few minutes to sign up, and while the service is free, there are a few requirements. Applicants must have training in a construction or manufacturing trade, have successfully completed NCCER curriculum, and have an NCCER ID number. Employers who use the job bank must be users of MCEF training or be active members of MCEF.
To get started, participants must create a secure account at mcef.net and provide basic information about their credentials and job experience. All applicants and their information are reviewed by MCEF.
