Derrell Washington: Follow government guidelines

By Floyd Ingram / The Press Register , READ MORE > 887 Reads
On Fri, 04/10/2020 - 07:53 AM

Dear Editor,

Efforts to prevent the coronavirus from spreading include social distancing, travel restrictions, quarantines, curfews, workplace hazard control, event postponements, cancellations and in some cases facilities closings.

That being said, I sincerely hope that you are adhering to these Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines for prevention and spread of COVID-19 coronavirus.

As you know COVID-19 has led to severe global socioeconomic disruptions and I imagine some of you are going stir crazy. I am a true believer that “If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.”

There is not much I can say about the virus that you have not already heard. However, if there is something I can do for you, I am just a telephone call away.

You can reach me at 662-902-8221 or 662-645-3010.

God bless each and every one of you. Continue to follow the Center for Disease Control for updates and stay safe.

Derrell Washington,

Supervisor Dist. 4,

Jonestown, Miss

-30-
