The Thanksgiving Community Dinner Fund was started in 2012 as an effort to always have a special Thanksgiving Dinner Meal for those in need on Thanksgiving Day.
Event organizers plan to host it once again and they need your help.
The meal is paid for and sponsored by the citizens of Coahoma County, organizations and friends.
Each year more than 1,000 dinners are served at the Care Station and delivered as Meals on Wheels to those families in need.
Volunteers prepare, serve and deliver the Thanksgiving meal and those wishing to assist or donate are urged to get involved.
Funds are needed to continue this tradition and donations can be made at Planters Bank c/o Thanksgiving Community Dinner.
