A Coahoma man has died in what authorities have called a drive-by shooting early Wednesday morning and authorities are looking for information from the community that could lead to an arrest.
The Coahoma County Sheriff’s Department said Derrick Moore, a 47-year-old black male and resident of Tunica County, was found shot multiple times in the community in northern Coahoma County.
Deputies were dispatched to Coahoma about 12:15 this morning after a 911 call came in saying someone heard shots fired.
The incident is currently being investigated by the Coahoma County Sheriff’s Department. Anyone with information about this shooting is asked to call the Sheriff’s Department at 662-624-3085.
