Trent Nelson has joined Clarksdale’s Planters Bank as Assistant Vice President/Loan Officer. Nelson has been with Planters Bank in Greenville for the past two years.
A graduate of The Mississippi School of Banking and Holmes Community College in Ridgeland with an Associate Degree in Business Administration, Nelson began his banking career in Madison.
“Trent was a very successful loan officer in our Greenville branch, and we look forward to our customers and the community working with him,” said Fred Cohen, President of Planters Bank in Clarksdale.
At Planters Bank in Greenville, Trent served as an Assistant Vice President and Loan Officer. He completed the Southeastern School of Commercial Lending. While in Greenville, Trent was an active volunteer for the Washington County United Way and completed the Leadership Washington County program.
Nelson is married to Nanilee Hughes Nelson, and they have one daughter, Eleanor Grace. They are members of Lyon Methodist Church.
