Football season has officially come to a close for all high school teams in Coahoma County, but seniors are now turning their attention to where they are playing next season.
Two seniors from the Clarksdale Wildcats publicly announced offers they received to play college football in 2021.
De’meric Strong, a linebacker, who will be playing for Mississippi in the Mississippi/Alabama All-Star Game at the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Ala. Saturday, Dec. 12, received an offer from Hinds Community College.
Defensive tackle Elbert Hines received an offer from Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock, Ark.
National Signing Day is Feb. 3, 2021 when seniors will announce decisions of where they will play next season.
