The first Chick-fil-A restaurant in the Mississippi Delta will officially be open to the public in Greenville on Tuesday, Dec. 13.
And people in Clarksdale hope it will be the first of more to come.
The new restaurant is located at 1647 S. Martin Luther King Blvd. in Greenville, and the drive-thru will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Curbside pick-up will also be available through the Chick-fil-A® App.
Dine-in and carry-out will soon be available for guests. Guests can take advantage of contactless ordering and payment through the Chick-fil-A® App.
The restaurant is owned and operated by Avery Miller, who is an Ole Miss grad and has been with Chick-fil-A for almost two decades. Before becoming the Operator of Chick-fil-A Greenville, Miller served in a variety of roles within Chick-fil-A, including several years at a restaurant in Oxford.
In Greenville, Miller will be responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, including employing approximately 100 full- and part-time team members, serving guests and cultivating relationships with local organizations and businesses.
Chick-fil-A has a long corporate history of giving back to the community they serve.

"To celebrate the opening, Chick-fil-A Greenville, Miss., is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Greenville area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A meals for a year."
In honor of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America on behalf of the new restaurant. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater Greenville area to aid in the fight against hunger.
