The Silver Alert that was issued for Mr. Earl Boggs has been cancelled.
Lt. Criss Turnipseed, spokesman for the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol, said today Boggs has been located and is safe.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation had issued a Silver Alert for 81 year old Oscar Earl Boggs of Horn Lake, Desoto County on Thursday.
Boggs was described as a white male, 5-foot, 11-inches tall, weighing 200-pounds with gray hair and blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, tan pants and cowboy boots.
Boggs was last seen Wednesday, Feb. 10, at about 9 a.m., in the area of 3730 Warrington Drive, Horn Lake in Desoto County.
Authorities said he was believed to be driving a 2021 red Toyota Tacoma traveling north bound on Hwy. 61 near Clarksdale.
Boggs was possibly traveling to see a friend in Helena-West Helena, Ark., but never arrived.
