The Clarksdale Police Department was busy this weekend responding to a shooting where four juveniles where shot inside a home, an armed robbery and two burglaries in the city.
Police were called to the 400 block of Andrews Street Saturday in reference to shooting and when officers arrived on the scene they found four people suffering from gunshot wounds.
Investigators have determined the house was fired into, with three males, all age 15, were hit by gunfire and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. A 14-year-old female, who was asleep at the time, was also hit by gunfire as she lay in her bed. Her injuries were also later listed as non-life threatening.
All four were transported to Merit Health in Clarksdale where they were treated in the emergency room and later released.
Police did not give a motive for the shooting and the incident is being actively investigated.

Police also responded to six reports of shots fired over the weekend.
Patrolmen were dispatched to the following locations to take a report and look for shell casings or damage due to gunfire at the following locations.
• 200 block Lynn Street
• 800 block Spruce Street
• 600 block Catalpa
• 600 block Catalpa (Second Report)
• 1400 block Cheyenne Street
Armed Robbery
Officers responded to the 700 block of Cherry Street regarding an armed robbery.
A male subject told police he drove his friend home and a male subject dressed in black wearing a mask came from behind the residence brandishing a weapon and demanded his personal property.
The victim told police he was forced from his vehicle and he ran from the scene leaving his vehicle and his friend.
Police reports said when the victim returned with the police, his vehicle was still on scene, but his AK-47 rifle was missing from the vehicle.
Police are asking anyone with information about this crime to contact police immediately.
The community is also reminded that armed robbery carries up to a 20-year sentence upon conviction. The public is also reminded that possession of a stolen weapon is a felony, unless the holder testifies where they obtained it. Possession of a stolen firearm by a convicted felon can revoke a person’s probation and a conviction can result in up to 10-years in prison.
Burglaries
• Officers responded to the 500 block of 6th Street regarding a residential burglary.
An air conditioner unit was reported stolen.
• Officers responded to the 500 block of North State Street regarding a residential burglary and two window air conditioner units were stolen from the residence.
Auto Burglary
• Officers responded to the 100 block of Crestline Drive regarding an auto burglary. The owner told police the door to the vehicle was left unlocked. A 9mm handgun was reported stolen.
