Delta Heritage Trail State Park and the Arkansas Archeological Survey are hosting the park’s first Artifact I.D. Day on Saturday, Oct. 2, from 1-4 p.m.
This is you chance to meet with representatives from the Arkansas Archeological Survey to learn about items you have in your private collection such as arrowheads, pottery or things you just are not sure about.
All that you need to do is bring them in between 1-4 p.m. and you can discuss with them things such as what an item is, how old is it, and what it was used for. There is no charge for this service and preregistration is not required.
Please note we cannot give financial appraisals.
The event will be held at the Delta Heritage Trail State Park Visitor Center located at 5539 U.S. Highway 49 West Helena, AR 72390.
