The Clarksdale Police Department was called to investigate the following incidents on Monday, July 17.
A home on Yazoo Street, a school on Maple and three shots fired calls were reported by police.

Home Burglary
Police were called to the 300 block of Yazoo Street regarding a residential burglary Monday.
The owner told officers someone entered their apartment and stole a 65-inch and a 55-inch television.
Officers were not able to determine how entry was gained and neighbors are being asked if they saw anyone carrying TV in the area.
School Burglary
Police were called to Heidelberg Elementary School at 801 Maple Street regarding a burglary.
Their investigation determined one or more people knocked out a window to gain access to the building.
Seventeen MacBook Tablets were reported stolen which are valued at over $6,000.
These each of these computers has an ID number and a program that allows the district to find them if they are misplaced or stolen. The computers are state property.
Shots Fired
Police also responded to three reports of shots fired on Monday.
Patrolmen were dispatched to the following streets to take a report and look for shell casings or damage due to gunfire at the following locations.
• 600 block Catalpa Street
• 1400 block Cheyenne Street
• 200 block Lynn Street
