BATESVILLE – James Martin "Marty" Lane, 62, a retired Police Officer for Clarksdale Police Department, died June 28, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford.

Visitation was Monday July 1, from 10 to 11 a.m., at Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale

Funeral services followed at 11 a.m. Monday, at Meredith Nowell Funeral Home, with burial in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Sumner.

Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale is handling all arrangements.
