TUTWILER, Miss. – Joann Hillman, 85, a retired factory worker, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Oxford.
Visitation is Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023, from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m., at First Baptist Church in Tutwiler. Funeral services are Noon at First Baptist Church in Tutwiler, with burial in the Rosemound Cemetery. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale is handling arrangements.
Joann was very active and loved to volunteer at her church. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Tutwiler.
Survivors include her sisters Bobbie Faye Lindsey of Olive Branch, Miss., Linda Gaye Gullick of Cordova, Tenn., and Carol (Cam) Harrington of Olive Branch; and brother James ( Bobbie Jean ) Hillman of Memphis.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ardell "Bill" and Mary Frances McDonald Hillman; brothers Wilber Hillman and Billy Robert Hillman and sister Jeanette Fowler.
