Lee Academy’s softball team went 1-1-1 in its home tournament on Saturday.
The Fillies (5-6-1) lost 9-6 to Delta Academy in the tournament championship, defeated West Memphis Christian 10-5 in an earlier game and tied Delta Academy 7-7 in pool play.
Pitcher Kendall Earnest gave up 9 runs, no earned runs and 1 walk while striking out 4 in the championship game against Delta Academy.
Avery Ruscoe was 2-for-3 with two runs; Bella Favi was 2-for-3 with 2 runs and 2 doubles; Earnest was 2-for-3 with 1 run, 3 RBIs and 1 walk; Caroline Dulaney was hit by a pitch; Isabel Walker was 1-for-3 with 1 stolen base; Maggie Lewis was hit by 2 pitches and had 1 walk; and Kate Chapman was 0-for-1 with 1 run and 1 walk.
Ruscoe was 1-for-2 with 2 runs and 1 walk in the win against West Memphis Christian; Favi was 2-for-3 with 3 runs, 2 RBIs, and 1 walk; Earnest was 2-for-3 with 2 runs, 3 RBIs, 1 walk, 1 stolen base and 1 double; Sophie Tedford was 1-for-4 with 1 run, 2 RBIs and 1 stolen base; Dulaney was 0-for-3 with 1 walk and 1 stolen base; Lewis was 0-for-1 with 1 run, 1 walk, 1 stolen base and 1 hit by a pitch.
Earnest gave up 5 hits, 3 earned runs and 3 walks while recording 7 strikeouts.
Earnest gave up 1 earned run and 3 walks while recording 2 strikeouts in the tie against Delta Academy.
Ruscoe was 1-for-3 with 1 run and 1 double; Favi was 1-for-3 with 2 walks; Earnest was 1-for-3 with 2 RBIs and 1 double; Tedford was 1-for-1 with 1 double, 3 RBIs and 2 walks; Dulaney was 1-for-3; Lewis was 1-for-2 with 2 runs; Edyn Grissom was 0-for-2 with 1 run and 1 stolen base; and Chapman was 2-for-2 with 2 runs, 2 RBIs and 1 stolen base.

The Fillies lost 14-2 at DeSoto School in Helena-West Helena, Ark., on Monday.
Earnest gave up 7 earned runs and 6 walks while recording 1 strikeout. She was 1-for-1 from the plate with 1 run, 1 walk, and 2 stolen bases.
Favi finished 1-for-2 from the plate and Walker and Chapman were each 1-for-1.

The Fillies lost 8-7 at home against Marvell Academy on Tuesday.
Earnest gave up 4 earned runs and 5 walks while recording 6 strikeouts. She was 1-for-3 from the plate with 1 run, 1 walk and 1 double.
Ruscoe was 0-for-4 with 1 run; Favi was 1-for-4 with 1 double, 1 run, and 2 RBIs; Tedford wad 1-for-2 with 1 run, 1 RBI, 2 walks and 1 double; Walker was 1-for-4 with 1 run and 1 RBI; Lewis was 0-for-2 with 1 run and 1 walk; and Chapman was 0-for-3 with 1 run.
Lee hosts Lee Academy from Arkansas at 5:30 p.m. today.
Lee is in the Calhoun Tournament on Saturday and faces Hebron Christian at 10 a.m. and Calhoun Academy at 1 p.m.
The Fillies host North Delta at 5:30 p.m. Monday and play at Kirk Academy at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
