Nellie Louise Davis, 71, of Clarksdale, retired from Gator Mills, died May 15, 2021 at Baptist East Memphis, Tenn. Visitation is 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, May18, 2021 at Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale with burial in the Friars Point Cemetery, Friars Point. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale is handling the arrangements.
She was a Baptist.
Survivors include three sons Mack Davis (Vickie) of Oakland, Miss., Chris Davis and Ronnie Evans (Cassie) both of Clarksdale, two Brothers Jody Dykes (Candy) of Southaven and Jack Dykes or West Helena, Ark., three sisters Ann Hickey (James) of Vance, Shirley Davis of Sledge and Sylvia Gallaway of Longtown, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents Johnny and Georgia Thacker Dykes.
