Lula Adams Avery, a retired educator, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024, in Harrisburg, Penn.

Funeral services are Sunday, Oct. 20, at 2 p.m. at Metropolitan Baptist Church 428 Ashton Ave in Clarksdale.

Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery in Clarksdale.

Delta Burial is handling arrangements.
