Mary "Mamie" Zepponi Camponova, 94, of Clarksdale, a hostess for Back Yard Burgers, died December 29, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN. Visitation is Friday, January 2, 2026, 10:00am - 11:00am at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Clarksdale, MS. Rosary will be at 11:00am – 11:20am and Mass service will be at 11:30am Friday, January 2, 2026 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Clarksdale, MS with burial in the Oakridge Cemetery. Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS is handling the arrangements.
Mamie was an active member of the Red Hat Club and the Ladies Auxiliary at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. She also devoted her time and heart to serving in Martha's Ministry.
Survivors include her sons Michael Camponova of Clarksdale, MS, Joe Camponova of Clarksdale, MS; daughters Susie (Rodney) Schnadelbach of Olive Branch, MS, Judy Butler of Memphis, TN, Teresa (Tripp) Ragland of Clarksdale, MS; brother Fred (Celeste) Zepponi Jr. of Moon Lake, MS; sister Evelyn Harris of Clarksdale, MS; grandchildren Jay (Jill) Salter, Mary Fay Salter, Clay Schnadelbach, Coy Schnadelbach, Clint (Holly) Butler, Brandon Butler; great grandchildren Mia (Cameron) Wayland, Lee Salter, Drew Salter, Bailey Butler, Luke Butler.
Preceded in death by her husband JoJo Camponova; parents Fred & Sestilla Agostinelli Zepponi, Sr; brothers Emilio Zepponi, Roy Zepponi, Frank Zepponi; sisters Teresa Pongetti, Grace Butterfield, JoAnn Work.
