The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has activated the Silver Alert notification on behalf of the Jackson Police Department.
Nelson Deyonna Duren of Olive Branch, Mississippi, was last seen on Friday, Aug. 23, at about 6 p.m. in the 1900 block of Shady Lane in Hinds County, walking in an unknown direction. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt, blue jeans, and black flip flops.
Duren may be traveling through Coahoma County to reach relatives in Olive Branch.
Family members say Nelson Deyonna Duren suffers from a medical condition that may impair her judgment.
