Conversations will soon begin to bring better roads, trails and highways to Mississippi.
The Mississippi Department of Transportation is developing Mississippi’s Unified Long-Range Transportation Infrastructure Plan (MULTIPLAN 2050) and has seven in-person community meetings across the state including one in Clarksdale.
The Clarksdale meeting will be Thursday, Nov. 7, from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Curtrer Mansion at 109 Clark Street just north of downtown Clarksdale.
MULTIPLAN 2050 is a coordinated effort to develop the Mississippi Department of Transportation’s statewide long-range transportation plan and regional transportation plans for the Central Mississippi Planning and Development District Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), the Hattiesburg-Petal-Forrest-Lamar MPO, and the Gulf Regional Planning Commission MPO.
All Mississippians are encouraged to join the conversation, so please, spread the word!
