Amanda Johnson, executive director of the Clarksale Collegiate Charter School, welcomes first-grader Ra’Khylan Walker on Wednesday’s opening day for the state’s newest charter school and the first in the Mississippi Delta.
The college prep school is located on the campus of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church on West Second Street.
