Bill Luckett passes away Thursday

Bill Luckett, an attorney, owner of Ground Zero Blues Club, former candidate for Governor of Mississippi and native of Clarksdale has died.
News of Luckett’s death was reported on Facebook Thursday evening. The City of Clarksdale is flying flags at half-staff Friday.

The Clarksdale American Legion hosted it’s annual golf tournament at Clarksdale Country Club with young and old enjoying the links and raising funds for youth and veterans.

Public Schools delayed two weeks
