NATIONAL SUMMARY
As a weak cold front slides through the East Coast states,
a broad area of occasional showers will stretch from the
Tennessee Valley to coastal Maine tomorrow. Across interior
New England, a mix of rain and snow is more likely. In the
Upper Midwest, an Alberta Clipper will bring an area of
accumulating snow to much of North Dakota, Minnesota,
Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. A couple
inches of snow are likely for most, though more localized
spots could see up to 6 inches of dry snow. In the northern
Rockies and Pacific Northwest, a strong storm will begin
developing. Periods of snow are likely across Idaho and
Montana, as well as the Washington Cascades. Rain is more
likely in coastal Washington, where temperatures will
remain above freezing.
