The Nation's Weather for Monday, March 6, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
As a storm system moves into the Midwest tomorrow, periods
of accumulating snow are expected in much of Minnesota,
northern and central Wisconsin and northern Michigan. Like
the day prior, light to moderate accumulations are expected
for most, though a few heavier pockets cannot be ruled out.
Farther to the south, for locations such as Chicago and
Detroit, any precipitation is likely to fall as rain, or
perhaps non-accumulating snow in the colder spots.
Unsettled weather will continue in the West, with showers
likely for Oregon and Northern California near the coasts.
Light snow is expected inland, mainly in the Oregon
Cascades and northern Sierras. Elsewhere in the country,
tranquil conditions are likely to be in place.
