The Nation's Weather for Thursday, March 16, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Severe thunderstorms are possible tomorrow within a corridor
from just north of Houston, Texas, through the area around
the Oklahoma-Arkansas border, including cities such as
Little Rock, Arkansas, and Oklahoma City. Severe
thunderstorms may be more widespread near and just east of
Dallas starting late in the day and throughout the night.
The northern end of this storm will instead deliver snow
from the Texas Panhandle into perhaps far southeastern North
Dakota, likely reaching as far east as northern Lower
Michigan and southeastern Ontario through the night.
Elsewhere, calmer weather will allow the West to continue to
dry out. High pressure will result in tranquil conditions
for the Eastern states, but a bit of snow is expected in
northern New England.
