The Nation's Weather for Thursday, January 27, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A cold front moving into the Great Lakes will produce some
light snow tomorrow. The tail end of that front may also
cause a few flurries in the Dakotas. A bit of snow is also
expected to blanket much of Colorado. A few rain showers
will dampen South Texas and the east coast of Florida.
Morning fog will continue to shroud portions of the Pacific
Northwest and Northern California. A breezy day is in store
around the Great Lakes and in the northern Plains. The winds
in the Great Lakes will temporarily transport slightly
warmer air into the region, while colder air returns to the
northern Plains. Another cold day is forecast from Maine to
North Carolina, although temperatures are expected to be a
bit higher than on Wednesday. The cold air in the Northeast
may set the stage for a winter storm this weekend.
