NATIONAL SUMMARY
During the day tomorrow, a large area where thunderstorms
may turn severe will extend from central Arkansas southward
through the Houston metropolitan area and as far east as
Mississippi. Within this zone, storms will be capable of
producing damaging wind gusts, hail and even some isolated
tornadoes. The chance for thunder will stretch northward
through western Tennessee and the rest of Arkansas, with
more general showers and some steadier rain reaching as far
north and west as South Dakota. Two separate disturbances
will produce a few showers from eastern North Dakota into
northwestern Minnesota and for some along the Southeast
coastline. Otherwise, the East and the West will be
generally dry under high pressure, with the main exception
being snow ending in Colorado and southern Wyoming.
