NATIONAL SUMMARY
Thunderstorms with torrential downpours, large hail,
damaging wind gusts and even isolated tornadoes will erupt
from southern Minnesota to northeastern Texas tomorrow.
Farther north, occasional rain will fall in an arc from
central South Dakota through northern and central Minnesota
and into Wisconsin. Thundershowers will pepper much of
Wyoming, Utah and Colorado. Periods of rain are expected in
western and central portions of Washington and Oregon and as
far south as northwestern California. Meanwhile, strong
winds and dry conditions can lead to an elevated fire risk
and blowing dust in the panhandles of Oklahoma and Texas.
Gusty winds, low humidity and dry brush will result in a
high fire risk from far southeastern Colorado into eastern
New Mexico.
