NATIONAL SUMMARY
Showers will quickly move off the coast of the Northeast
tomorrow morning, however showers and thunderstorms will
linger through the day from southern New Jersey to North
Carolina. Farther south, sea-breeze thunderstorms will occur
across the Florida Peninsula during the afternoon. A storm
will bring showers and thunderstorms to much of the Plains,
with a zone of severe thunderstorms developing from Nebraska
to central Texas during the afternoon and overnight hours.
These thunderstorms will be capable of producing flash
flooding, locally damaging winds, hail and even tornadoes.
Ahead of this storm, warmth will build into the Ohio and
Mississippi valleys once again. In the West, showers will
continue across the Rockies, while the Pacific Northwest and
the Southwest will be dry.
