NATIONAL SUMMARY
A large storm will continue to bring showers and
thunderstorms across much of the Northeast and mid-Atlantic
tomorrow. Some thunderstorms will be capable of producing
locally damaging winds, hail and flooding downpours from New
York to North Carolina. Farther south, spotty thunderstorms
can occur across the Southeast, with the exception of
Florida, where mainly dry and hot weather will continue.
Severe thunderstorms will occur across central and eastern
Texas, and will be capable of producing large hail, locally
damaging winds and isolated tornadoes. Another storm will
bring showers and thunderstorms to the Upper Midwest, and
some thunderstorms can bring gusty winds and small hail.
High pressure will promote largely dry and warm conditions
across much of the West.
