The Nation's Weather for Tuesday, November 26, 2024
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Tomorrow, a storm moving through the West will bring rain to
the Central California coast. Heavier downpours can lead to
ponding on roadways and poor-drainage areas. Showers can
extend north along the Oregon coast and as far south as Los
Angeles. In the Sierra Nevada, heavy snow, above 7,000 feet,
can accumulate quickly leading to reduced visibility and
snow-covered roads. There can be a few afternoon snow
showers in the Rockies. Meanwhile, a storm moving through
New England will bring periods of rain from Maine to eastern
Pennsylvania. Showers can extend along the Eastern Seaboard
to the Florida Panhandle. In the South, it will be dry and
cooler with partly sunny skies. In the Plains it will be
mainly dry, warmer and breezy, except in the northern Plains
where very cold air will start to push into the country.
