NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm moving across the Northeast tomorrow will bring snow
showers and squalls from Maine to Pennsylvania. Snow squalls
can lead to whiteout conditions and slippery travel across
the interior Northeast. In the Interstate 95 corridor from
New York City to Baltimore, snow showers during the morning
commute can lead to sudden drops in visibility and travel
disruptions. It will be turning colder and with a gusty
breeze it will be quite brisk. Much colder air will push in
across the northern Plains, Midwest and central Mississippi
Valley. Daily high temperatures will be 15-20 degrees
Fahrenheit below the historical average for most. It will be
dry and mild across the West. Patchy morning fog is forecast
in the California valleys. In Oregon and Washington, morning
fog and low clouds will continue into the afternoon.
