_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm will move into Northern California tomorrow and
bring heavy rain. Heavy rain will also extend into southern
Oregon and can lead to flooding, especially in low-lying and
poor drainage areas. Snow in the higher elevations will
spread and become heavier overnight. There can be feet of
snow in the Sierra and Northern California which can lead to
slow and slippery travel. Showers will spread north into
Washington and south to Central California. Meanwhile, there
can be a few showers in the central Plains. As these showers
reach the Midwest later in the day, ice and snow will begin
to mix in from Nebraska to Illinois. Downwind of the Great
Lakes, snow will quickly taper off. Otherwise, it will turn
warmer across the region. It will be dry and partly sunny on
the East Coast.
