NATIONAL SUMMARY
Clouds will loom over much of the central and eastern United
States tomorrow. While strong winds are expected from the
northern Plains into the Midwest and Appalachians, heavy
snow is forecast to accumulate over Minnesota and the
Dakotas, resulting in slow and slippery travel along with
blizzard conditions in some spots. Meanwhile, a severe
thunderstorm outbreak capable of producing damaging wind
gusts of 65-75 mph, hail and tornadoes will extend from the
central Gulf Coast states to the Midwest. The highest risk
for tornadoes will be from eastern Louisiana to far southern
Tennessee. Some sunshine is in store for the Southwest,
while rain will dampen the Northwest coast. Rain and snow
showers will occur across the Rocky Mountains.
