The Nation's Weather for Thursday, March 27, 2025
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Drenching, slow-moving thunderstorms are expected tomorrow
from the Rio Grande River Valley through much of South
Texas, mainly during the afternoon. These storms may lead to
flash flooding, but the rain will also help ease drought
conditions and lower the wildfire risk in the region. In
contrast, the Southeast is forecast to be warm and sunny.
Thunderstorms from far eastern Nebraska into western
Illinois may produce gusty winds and hail. Much of the
Plains will be unseasonably warm. A storm over the Pacific
is expected to bring periods of rain to much of the West
Coast from Northern California to Washington, along with
mountain snow and showers in the valleys.
